My hope & I
“Life will be brighter than noonday, and darkness will become like morning. You will be secure, because there is hope; you will look about you and take your rest in safety”.
Job cap 11 v 17-18 NIV
When I thought and felt I had lost hope, I learned by my faith in God and all the fantastic things which comes along by having faith; there is always hope.
Since God has moved back into my heart, I have had and seen numerous experiences of His presence. I know there is hope – also for the people whom I care about. Hope is a reminder of what is to come. In hope there is joy and peace to be found.
I practise – to let this be the main thing in my heart. The challenges I face daily and they come every day – I find a calmness in my faith and in the hope to do the right thing – but also a hope that things can change or that I personally can change.
In Romans cap. 12 v 12 NIV it says:” Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer”.
And yes – I do pray. In prayer I find a peace and counsel from God, who makes me understand, that He will guide me I all the challenges I face. His plan for me is not suffering and pian, but as it says in Jeremiah cap 29 v 11 -13 NIV: “for I know the plans I have for you, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call on me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.”
Poems about hope
Our God, our Father in heaven
He is always here with us
Maybe not the way – we want Him to
But it is not meant to be discussed
He is behind us – in every step of our way
Guiding us in the right direction
Showing us what is in His heart
Telling us – not to lose the connection
What we do – how we speak
Determine our future that lays ahead
Choose to walk believing in God
And by His guidance - to be led
He may not be in front you
To be seen with your own two eyes
But know in your heart - you soon will see
His face and in His love, you will arise
Jesus forgave us
His Father had told Him to
Doesn’t that leave us
to do the same thing too
Think what would happen
if we held on to all the debt
We think everyone owns us
a debt - we would never forget
Our hearts - they would turn to stone
and we are left - to be so very much alone
Because we didn’t listen when our God said
“Forgive as I did,” and not live as a living dead
Reconciliation –
that is the word of today
“Make peace with your brother”
as our God says
The chains are broken
and the debt is set free
Again, our God is right –
wouldn’t you agree?
When God is in your heart
And you trust in Him
Let Him do His part
If you dare to let Him in
Because when you seek Him
In everything you do
Heaven will open its doors
And He will reveal it all to you
With Him in your life
You will succeed
And He will look down
And be ever so pleased
When you do His work
You will fulfill your call
And from above in time
You will be rewarded with it all.
