Hope

Rely on God

He is the very thing

Who can clean up the mess

You carry within

When you rely

And put your trust in Him

He will give you the key

To get rid of the things

The things that keep

Your true feelings in the dark

Let His light in

And the darkness will depart

Put your trust in His name

You will never doubt your feelings

In His fold you remain

Sometimes

If you feel low

Have you forgotten

The love from above

The love of our Lord

Can lift you up

It strengthens you

And makes you stop

The pause will do you

So much good

And suddenly

You feel renewed

You might also

Have received His light

And inside of you

It shines so bright

Sometimes now

You may look back

And see the things

You very much lacked

But as you forwardly

Walk in your faith

The low feeling is gone

And with God’s light replaced

You are never alone

Even when you walk through fire

Our Lord will be there

And His love will lift you higher

Never forget

In the hope you will survive

Because the love from above

It will keep you alive

He will help and guide you

Even through the biggest storm

His voice is within you

It will always keep you warm

The fire of love

It will never burn out

Our Father

Is watching over your head

In that you must never doubt.
